Anybody else give their car an official song? Kipper’s is “Something From Nothing” by the Foo Fighters, because when I got the truck, it looked pretty rough and ran well. Now it... looks even rougher and runs just as well. Someday it’ll look good.

Pretty sure my best friend’s is now “My Hooptie” by Sir Mix-A-Lot, since even though he doesn’t drive a Deuce and a Quarter, he DOES have a Buick, and quite a bit of the lyrics apply.

The Grand National’s is Turbo Lover by Judas Priest (Back in Black is too predictable, plus I don’t care for AC/DC. I HAVE MY REASONS.)

The Bronco’s is So Far Away by Staind.... BECAUSE I CAN’T FIND THE DAMNED THING.

I love Cage The Elephant. I too took immediate notice of that Galaxie, since the song had come out a year prior to the purchase of the ‘63 Fairlane we had. Damn, I miss that car. That car probably has either something by Skid Row, Shake Me Down by Cage the Elephant, or The Crow & The Butterfly by Shinedown. Hell, my buddy with the Buick? His uncle sold it to us, before I even started hanging out with him (my buddy). Our friendship was practically built in that car.

I love Sum 41! I almost went and saw them earlier this month. I started listening to the Dierks Bentley song, but quickly realized it’d make me shed many manly tears for Dixie, my first dog and I shut it off.
